I am leaving the state of Missouri, for a long period of time. I therefore have been making preparations, for the new SCMA Instructor, and head Sensei, in my absence, Mr.Thomas Burton. Mr.Burton is no stranger to the Martial Arts, with many years of Martial Arts,specifically TaeKwonDo, prior to joing our school. Mr.Burton has exhibited excellant skills and a fluent and balanced understanding of techniques, as guided by Mr.John Chung's traditional TaeKwon Do teachings. Mr.Burton has been teaching those traditional techniques, that are accepted per the WTF and the ITF.I am excited and proud to have Mr.Burton, leading SCMA, in a traditional direction, and know that our current students and their families welcome Mr.Burton's patience as well as attention to detail for traditional Poomses in the Dojo.Mr.Burton is a welcomed and valued addition to SCMA.A special friend and man like a son to me, Renshi Anthony Riaan Van Dyk, will also be, on occasion, available to Mr.Burton, for priveleged Martial Arts consultation. |
