A lot of ground has been covered since we traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, for the World Nationals. This is just a snapshot from our school and most of competitors from Bluegrass. Not in photo, is Mr. Riaan Van Dyk. Riaan did a great job, winning (2) trophies in top 3 in his division. Mr. Van Dyk was only .02 from going to Grand Champ, Black belt, in World Nationals. We will post a more conclusive accounting, as soon as our info is compiled. Thank so much to all of our community for support and donations. We could not have done it without you. Thanks to all parents who toiled endlessly, getting ready and so much cooking. It was great! More later. Do not forget our August 9th tournament in ElDorado Springs. Thanks to an annonymous benefactor, we will have $400 in Black belt prize money, in addition to GChamp trophies. It's gonna be fun! IHS, Sensei Fleener

Thanks to some hard work by many parents, students, and the heartfelt generosity of our community, we are ready to leave for 2008 Bluegrass World Nationals, in Louisville, Kentucky. We will depart Wednesday, the 18th, and are pumped and very grateful, to all who donated to make our trip possible. Sincerely thank you all. It's been tough since January 8th(the fire). But, with all our local community helping us, "We're Back", and so to stay. Lest we forget that fateful day in January, when we regrouped, rolled our sleeves up, and gratefully accepted the generosity of our community, and began our rebuilding, just look at this picture? The Lord works in mysterious ways. We are better because of our adversity. We are stronger, yet always humble. To our beautiful city of ElDorado Springs, our Spring City, we shall represent you well, at the World Nationals. Thank you. Stay tuned for our smiling faces, when we return, tired and victorious. God Bless you all. IHS, Sensei Fleener
