Saturday, August the 9th, the Eldo Civic center will be the home of a fantastic Martial Arts event. Many spectators and competitors will travel from as far as Wichita,Kansas, and beyond. If you've not experienced a Martial Arts Tournament, you are missing some super entertainment. We here at SCMA, are so thankful for our local following of supporters. Come see our kids show you why we train, and how much fun they are having. When we give our youth goals to strive for, and a means to accomplish them, it is a win-win scenario for all. Weapons Katas and beautiful musical Katas(forms), will be the first agenda, starting at 9:30 AM.The Civic Center will have the concession stand going with so many delicious items to munch on. Come join the fun, kick back and be ready to be entertained. Also, help SCMA welcome our many out of towners, traveling to see our beautiful "Spring City". I look forward to seeing many old friends and a chance to make some new ones.I look forward to visiting with many folks from right here in our community. IHS, Sensei Fleener

A lot of ground has been covered since we traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, for the World Nationals. This is just a snapshot from our school and most of competitors from Bluegrass. Not in photo, is Mr. Riaan Van Dyk. Riaan did a great job, winning (2) trophies in top 3 in his division. Mr. Van Dyk was only .02 from going to Grand Champ, Black belt, in World Nationals. We will post a more conclusive accounting, as soon as our info is compiled. Thank so much to all of our community for support and donations. We could not have done it without you. Thanks to all parents who toiled endlessly, getting ready and so much cooking. It was great! More later. Do not forget our August 9th tournament in ElDorado Springs. Thanks to an annonymous benefactor, we will have $400 in Black belt prize money, in addition to GChamp trophies. It's gonna be fun! IHS, Sensei Fleener
